The Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority formally commenced its Sportsfest 2025 on April 10, 2025, at the MCIAA Grounds, Corporate Building. The opening ceremony began with a parade participated in by representatives from each department, reflecting the spirit of unity and sportsmanship within the organization.

An inspirational message was delivered by Atty. Glenn B. Napuli, Assistant General Manager, who officially declared the Sportsfest open. This was followed by the Oath of Sportsmanship, led by Sports Chairman Mr. Bonifacio Y. Pusta III.

One of the highlights of the opening ceremony was the Search for Ms. MCIAA Sportsfest 2025, with further activities continuing the next day, including a fun run.

The Sportsfest aims to promote camaraderie, wellness, and teamwork among MCIAA personnel.
