MCIAA Receives National Recognition from ARTA for Outstanding Public Service
The Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) has been nationally recognized by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) for its exemplary performance in public service and regulatory compliance.
Out of 904 government agencies assessed across the country, MCIAA was among the 59 institutions honored by ARTA for attaining a “Very Satisfactory” rating — and notably, the only agency from Cebu granted such award. This distinction highlights MCIAA’s adherence to Republic Act No. 11032, otherwise known as the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, and reflects the strong satisfaction ratings from both its internal and external stakeholders.
The recognition reaffirms MCIAA’s ongoing commitment to transparency, efficiency, and continuous innovation in delivering quality public service to its stakeholders and the traveling public.
Representing MCIAA during the awarding ceremony were Atty. Elmar Tagaloguin, Finance Department Manager and Chairperson of the Committee on Anti-Red Tape; Gerard Montecillo, Corporate Planning Division Manager; and Brilliant Book, Officer-in-Charge of the Intelligence and ID Pass Control Division.
“This recognition inspires us to further strengthen our commitment to good governance and excellent service,” said MCIAA General Manager and CEO Julius G. Neri, Jr. “We dedicate this milestone to our stakeholders and the public we serve.”
