The Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority officially opened Women’s Month and Fire Prevention Month celebration with a motorcade earlier today that gathered employees and airport partners in a show of solidarity and commitment.

Spearheaded by the MCIAA Gender and Development (GAD) Committee in collaboration with the MCIAA Rescue and Firefighting Division, the kickoff was participated in by MCIAA employees and representatives from Aboitiz InfraCapital Cebu Airport Corporation (ACAC), Philippine National Police Aviation Security Unit, Philippine Air Force, the Mactan Airline Operators Council, and other airport stakeholders.

The symbolic activity demonstrated unity and strong support for women empowerment, gender equality, and inclusive growth, while it also highlighted the importance of fire safety awareness and prevention, in line with the nationwide observance of Fire Prevention Month.

These two significant initiative reinforces the airport community’s commitment to maintaining a safe, prepared, and inclusive workplace for all.
