President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has arrived in Cebu last night for the 48th ASEAN Leaders’ Summit 2026, marking the start of a significant week of regional cooperation and diplomacy.

Upon his arrival, the President was warmly received by Cebu Governor Pamela Baricuatro, ASEAN Director General Hellen Dela Vega, and MCIAA General Manager and CEO Julius G. Neri, Jr.

As host venue for this year’s Summit, Cebu proudly welcomes ASEAN leaders and delegates, with an opportunity to showcase the island’s hospitality, and vibrant culture.
