Behind the Success: MCIAA Honors the ASEAN Summit Working Committee
Behind every landing, every takeoff, and every warm welcome is the unwavering dedication of the people who make it all possible.
The Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority proudly recognizes the Working Committee behind the successful hosting of the ASEAN Leaders’ Summit held in Cebu last May 7–8, 2026. Through teamwork, excellence, and genuine Cebuano hospitality, our employees and airport community warmly welcomed our neighboring countries and showcased the very best of the Philippines to the world.
Spearheaded by MCIAA General Manager & CEO Mr. Julius G. Neri, Jr. and Assistant General Manager Atty. Glenn B. Napuli, this achievement would not have been possible without the support and cooperation of our valued airport stakeholders and the entire airport community.
MCIAA also proudly highlighted Filipino culture and craftsmanship as our team wore Hinablon sa Cebu handwoven fabrics from Argao and Filipiniana and Barong pieces by Liong Garments, complemented by handcrafted accessories made by the Mactan Shrine Vendors Association — a true celebration of local artistry and pride.
To every employee, partner, and stakeholder who contributed to the success of this international event, thank you for your dedication and service. Together, we brought the warmth of Cebuano hospitality to the global stage.
