In support of the request from the Municipality of Santa Fe, MCIAA granted the Bantayan Island Airport Departure Area to be used as a venue for the DOT Mobile Accreditation Caravan on July 13, 2023. The DOT Mobile Caravan is an initiative by DOT where they offer free services, such as application or renewal of DOT accreditations, physical inspection of establishments, and releasing of IDs for community tour guides to name a few. This collaboration greatly reinforces the great relationship MCIAA has with DOT and the efficiency of the developing Bantayan Island Airport.
