03 April 2024 – Sunlight Air inaugurated their flights in Mactan-Cebu International Airport to Coron, Busuanga, Manila, and Siargao.

A ribbon cutting, cake slicing, and water cannon salute ceremony was held to celebrate the occasion. The event was graced with the presence of Sunlight Air CEO herself Ms. Ryna Brito-Garcia, MCIAA Assistant General Manager Atty. Glenn B. Napuli, MCIA CEO Mr. Athanasios Titonis, Lapu-Lapu City Head of the Committee on Tourism, Cooperatives and Livelihood Hon. Joseph Pangatungan, DOT Supervising Tourism Operations Officer Ms. Riza Marie S. Macaibay, and Justin Chan representative of Congresswoman Cindi King Chan.
