The Department of Energy (DOE) Regional Office VII has conducted the Government Energy Management Program (GEMP) orientation with the Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA)employees on April 23, 2024. This enhances the MCIAA’s energy management practices as outlined in Republic Act No. 11285, otherwise known as The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act. This initiative contributes with sustainable operation of the airport while reducing energy consumption and costs.
