26 April 2024 – The Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) continues to strive for safer operations by conducting a seminar for Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking-MCIA Task Force Against Trafficking (IACAT-MCIATFAT). This is in collaboration with Bureau of Immigration (BI), Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and NAIATFAT. The lecture was an enriching experience having NBI Senior Agent Atty. Niño Rodriguez share his expertise on Investigation of Human Trafficking. BI Duty Administrative Supervisor Atty. Mark Degamo and Deputy Terminal Head for Operations Ms. Apple Preglo also discussed on departure formalities and profiling practices at MCIA. The seminar was graced with the presence of DMW OIC Regional Director Atty. Karl Arriola.
