06 May  2024 – The Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority has distributed a total of 15 water tanks to five barangays in Lapu-Lapu City.

This donation, which forms parts of the agency’s Corporate Social Responsibility, is aimed at alleviating the water scarcity in the areas while providing clean and reliable water for its residents.

The five periphery barangays, which were beneficiaries of 3 water tanks each, include barangays Ibo, Buaya, Bankal, Pusok and Basak.

This CSR initiative by MCIAA is seen to contribute not only in providing access to sufficient water but also promotes sustainable development that helps further the agency’s role as a responsible steward of the environment.
