On October 6–8, 2024, the Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) participated in Routes World 2024, a premier event for the global aviation and route development community.

This event brought together more than 2,500 key aviation stakeholders, including airlines, airports, and tourism authorities from around the world. In partnership with AGMCAC, MCIAA took part in the event as part of its strategic efforts to enhance air connectivity.

By collaborating with airlines, airports, and tourism authorities, MCIAA aims to attract new routes and expand existing ones, further strengthening Cebu’s position as a major aviation hub. The event provided MCIAA the opportunity to showcase Cebu’s potential as a key gateway in international air travel and route development.
