Integrated Planning Course on Incident Command System
On November 4-6, 2024, the Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) held an Integrated Planning Course for Incident Command System (ICS), aimed at equipping its emergency responders with advanced ICS competencies. Conducted by experts from the Office of Civil Defense Region 7, the Lapu-Lapu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LLCDRRMO), and the Bureau of Fire Protection, this course focused on enhancing the responders’ skills in strategic planning, inter-agency coordination, and resource management within the ICS framework.
Emphasizing integrated planning, the course prepared participants to respond effectively to complex incidents, reinforcing MCIAA’s commitment to upholding national ICS standards and fostering a cohesive, multi-agency approach to emergency response at the airport.
