The Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) conducted its second Strategic Planning Session on November 22-23, 2024, bringing together key personnel and office heads to align on the organization’s targets and initiatives for CY 2025.
The session commenced with a presentation of the performance scorecard for the third quarter of 2024, which included a presentation of the performance scorecard ratings from 2013 to the present. This was followed by an overview of each department’s accomplishments, ongoing initiatives, and completed projects for the year. This segment highlighted the organization’s progress for the year 2024 and laid the groundwork for upcoming priorities.
The key highlight of the event was the comprehensive discussion on the 2025 Performance Scorecard and the Board-approved Strategy Map, which outlined the strategic objectives for the coming year. The Information Systems Strategic Plan (ISSP) and the Integrated Management System (IMS) Annual Plan for 2025 was also presented, both essential for driving operational efficiency and strengthening governance. Additionally, the timeline for the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Plan for 2025 was unveiled, underscoring its significance as one of MCIAA’s key priorities for the next year.
The Second Strategic Planning Session reaffirmed MCIAA’s dedication to excellence, collaboration, and forward-thinking leadership. By reflecting on past achievements and mapping out priorities for 2025, the session empowered participants to align their efforts with MCIAA’s overarching goals. With the 2025 Performance Scorecard, Board-approved Strategy Map, and plans for DRRM, ISSP, and IMS, the organization is well-equipped to navigate challenges and seize opportunities in the coming year.
