15 APR 2025 – Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority announces the start of the annual “Oplan Biyaheng Ayos: Semana Santa & Summer Vacation 2025” in coordination with aviation stakeholders to ensure safe, secure, and efficient airport operations during the Holy Week travel period beginning last April 13 until Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025.
As thousands of passengers are expected to travel for the observance of Holy Week, MCIAA has implemented heightened safety measures and operational enhancements at Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
The Oplan Biyaheng Ayos is conducted in line with the directive of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to implement measures that ensure public safety, security, and comfort during peak travel periods.
With this, passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least three hours before their flight, stay updated on airline advisories, and observe airport security protocols.
