Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Vince Dizon personally visited the Mactan-Cebu International Airport to lead an on-ground inspection of the MCIA runway.

In line with the directive of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. to ensure safety and comfort of passengers, the inspection comes amid the ongoing maintenance works and increasing flight operations at MCIA, a key hub in the Visayas and a vital link in the country’s aviation network. 

Secretary Dizon reaffirmed the DOTr’s continued collaboration with MCIAA to fast-track upgrades and prevent disruptions to the traveling public.
